MONTHLY SPENDING PLAN POSTER 

TASK: 

On your group of 6 students prepare a poster in which you present a monthly spending plan taking into account the context you have been given. 

The groups are: 

Group 1: The United Kingdom 

Group 2: Andalucía 

Group 3: The United States 

Group 4: Ireland 

Group 5: Canada 

In order to complete this poster you will have to learn many linguistic and cultural elements of the country you have been given. Therefore, use this task in order to learn as much as possible about these English-speaking environments. You never know what the destiny has planned for you!

DAY BY DAY 

DAY 1 

The task is presented, groups are created and the groups are provided with some input. 

Look at the following poster. It might help you understand the task. 

DAY 2 

In your groups, brainstorm the different elements you might need to include in your month expenses and do a list.

DAY 3 

Time to do some research! Look for information about the different stores, companies, prices, currency and buying traditions in order to have a general idea of the context selected. 

DAY 4 

Join all the information and plan what you are including into the poster. If you want to create the poster online, please complete it at home.

Complete details of the poster, stick pictures, diagrams etc

DAY 6 

Rehearse the oral presentation of the final task 

DAY 7 

Final task presentation and peer-assessment
