Hi y'all! This is the time most of you were waiting for... SOCIAL NETWORKS ON THE ENGLISH CLASS!!
Well, so, during the unit you will have the opportunity to learn about and work on different social networks, here, however, we are going to learn how to use a really special tool for this class. That is BLOGGER.
You all, thus, will have to create their own post with information and include it into this blog. In order to do so, you will follow a series of steps and, eventually, the blog will be open for you to post your information.
Remember that the information you post must be complete and useful. It must include pictures, diagrams, tables, reliable information, sources and, of course, it must be catchy for other people to stop and read your posts.
DAY 1
Planning, description of the task and creation of groups: go to section 'task'
Group 1: Different Social Networks
Group 2: Employment apps
Group 3: Learning English online
Group 4: Video and streaming platforms
Group 5: Content creation and influencers.
DAY 2
Presentation on blogger from the teacher. Basic functions.
Students start thinking and discussing the information they want to include
DAY 3
Research the information you want to include, pictures, diagrams, examples etc.
DAY 4
Groups prepare sections of the post with the pictures and information. Then they think on the format and contents order.
DAY 5
Complete all the information that might be missing and choose pictures, diagrams or other symbols to explain. Upload at home if not enough time.
DAY 6
Last details and rehearsal of the oral presentation
DAY 7
FINAL PRESENTATION
