Becoming a museum, library or monument guide. 

ART LEAFLETS 

Along the Unit we have been talking about different art manifestations such as paintings, monuments, literature, music, street art and the different effects they can have on society. Knowing about art is fundamental as it enriches, but it is also crucial in order to learn a language culture and background. 

TASK:

In your group of 6 students, prepare a leaflet about the monument, museum, library or city using the tools Emaze  or  Canva. Then, during the presentation become into a tourist guide and show the rest of the class the artistic elements you have been working on.

In your presentation you have to include: 

- Historical, cultural and general descriptions of the most important art manifestations in the context provided.

- The physical leaflet with the information required using the correct format. 

- Adjectives and tenses related to description and explaining past events. 

- Other vocabulary and grammar from the unit. 

GROUPS: 

Group 1: Trinity College Library 

Group 2: Hollywood Walk of Fame 

Group 3: British Museum

Group 4: Grammy museum

Group 5: Alhambra

FINAL TASK PRESENTATION: 

The group has 12 minutes to present their final task. 

Each of the 6 students in the group has to speak for approx. 2 min. 

Complete (if necessary) the final task at home

Oral presentations day: Bring the leaflet on .pdf format and if possible print some copies of it. 

CreaTe a safe atmosphere in your group.
